Baseball Game Preview: Shorecrest Scots vs. Meadowdale Mavericks

For the second straight game, Shorecrest will face off against Meadowdale. The Scots will head out to challenge the Mavericks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Meadowdale hit Shorecrest with a four-run fifth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Scots fell 5-2 to the Mavericks. Scots fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Mavericks since on Wednesday.

Shorecrest saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quinn Burnham, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Burnham has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played.
