Football Recap: Iroquois Takes a Loss

Iroquois lost against Butler back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders had to suffer through a 37-7 loss at the hands of the Bears. The Raiders were down 37-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

This is the second loss in a row for Iroquois and nudges their season record down to 3-5. Sadly, the team can't blame their woes on tough opposition, as that stretch included 2-6 Butler and 3-4 Seneca. As for Butler, they moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Iroquois will host Atherton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Ravens' defense has only allowed five points per game this season, so the Raiders' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Butler, they will welcome Seneca at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
