Basketball Game Preview: Thief River Falls Prowlers vs. Win-E-Mac Patriots

The Thief River Falls Prowlers will challenge the Win-E-Mac Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Thief River Falls didn't have too much trouble with Crookston as they won 84-68. The Prowlers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Bridger Wilcox and Everett Nelson were among the main playmakers for Thief River Falls as the former went 6-for-8 from beyond the arc en route to 37 points and the latter dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards. The game was Wilcox's 11th in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Nelson, who posted five points.

Meanwhile, Win-E-Mac was able to grind out a solid win over Badger/Greenbush-Middle River on Thursday, taking the game 65-58.

Thief River Falls' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-7. As for Win-E-Mac, their win bumped their record up to 8-15.
