Kalamazoo Christian put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish 13-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-1 on Wednesday.

Cora Vander Kley was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Reese Gernaat, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Kalamazoo Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Kalamazoo Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Hackett Catholic Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kalamazoo Christian will welcome Parchment at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hackett Catholic Prep, they will be playing at home against Eau Claire at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Fighting Irish are facing the Beavers at the right time seeing as the Beavers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
