Basketball Recap: EF Academy Falls to Webb in First Game of Season + How To Watch

EF Academy kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Webb Gauls 81-35. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Gauls: they've now lost three in a row.

Ethan Hao was a one-man wrecking crew For Webb. as he shot 69% from the field to rack up 25 points and six steals. The game was Hao's third in a row with at least 20 points. Jimmie Brown III was another key player, going 6-for-8 en route to 12 points along with six boards and three steals.

The victory was the third in a row for Webb, bringing their record up to 3-0.

EF Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-33 win against Southwestern Academy on the 21st. As for Webb, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southlands Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 4.
