Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Canisius

Canisius entered their tilt with North Tonawanda on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Lumberjacks 6-4. That's two games straight that the Crusaders have won by exactly two runs.

The team relied heavily on Nick Scime, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

The victory got Canisius back to even at 9-9. As for North Tonawanda, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8-1 record this season.
