Recap: Marsing Huskies vs. The Ambrose School Archers
If the Marsing Huskies were riding high off their 56-12 takedown of the Compass Charter Aviators on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Marsing suffered a tough 53-29 defeat at the hands of The Ambrose School on Saturday. Marsing has not had much luck with The Ambrose School recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Marsing saw an underclassman step up: Adyson Chadez scored 14 points. The matchup was Chadez's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Raylynn Vanosdall, who scored six points.
Marsing has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for The Ambrose School, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marsing will challenge North Star at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Ambrose School, they will head out on the road to face off against Melba at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
