Addison and Michigan Center are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Addison has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 4.

Vandercook Lake hit Addison with a six-run fifth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers came up short against the Jayhawks, falling 13-3.

Meanwhile, Michigan Center can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Leslie, sneaking past 17-16.

Michigan Center's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Addison, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Addison took their win against Michigan Center in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 19-5 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
