Volleyball Recap: Stratford Comes Up Short

Stratford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Cane Bay Cobras. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cobras this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-9.

Stratford's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11-1. As for Cane Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Stratford will face off against Berkeley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cane Bay, they will take on Lucy Beckham at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bengals will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Cobras surely won't give up without a fight.
