Hunter Squire turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two walks surrendered on Friday. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Looking ahead, Squire and Gateway will stay at home for another game and welcome East Lee County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway is a perfect 4-0 against East Lee County going back to March of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
