Volleyball Recap: Wayne School of Engineering Titans vs. Coastal Christian Centurions

Wayne School of Engineering lost against Coastal Christian back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Titans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centurions. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 21-25, 25-9, 25-20.

Teddy Acorn paced Wayne School of Engineering's offense, picking up three kills. Acorn really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with five. Caleb Larson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Wayne School of Engineering's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Coastal Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Wayne School of Engineering wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Village Christian Academy on the 15th. Coastal Christian has also already played their next contest (against Swansboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
