 The Deuel Cardinals will head out on the road to  face off against  the Arlington Cardinals at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Deuel is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.1  runs per game  this season.
 On Thursday, Deuel came up short against Chester  and fell  7-3. Deuel has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Katrina Hagberg spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and six unearned) runs on three hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season.
 On the hitting side, Deuel saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Roxanne Raml, who  went 1-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, in what's become a running theme this season, Arlington gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Colman-Egan as Arlington made off with  a  19-3 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Arlington.
 Arlington got a  massive  performance out of  Harley Johnson, who  went 3-for-3 with three  runs, a  triple,  and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ellisyn Vincent, who  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  stolen base.
 Deuel's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Arlington, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record  this season.
 Arlington's hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Friday. Deuel has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 11.6  strikeouts per game.
