Hayes Fugate posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
