Liberty Christian Academy skates past Crosspoint Christian with ease

Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Eagles vs. Crosspoint Christian

The Liberty Christian Academy Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Crosspoint Christian 56-11 on the road. The victory was some much needed relief for Liberty Christian Academy as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Leading Liberty Christian Academy to victory were Trina Scheltens and Lauren Moss. Scheltens dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, while Moss scored 23 points along with six steals and five assists. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Moss has scored at least a third of Liberty Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Anna Scheltens, who scored seven points along with two steals.

The victory got Liberty Christian Academy back to even at 9-9. As for Crosspoint Christian, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Liberty Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against Westwood Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Westwood Baptist Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Friday. As for Crosspoint Christian, they will be playing at home against Rivers of Life Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rivers of Life Christian is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
