Volleyball Recap: Warren Takes a Loss

Warren lost against Woodville back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2.

Warren took Woodville into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-14, 25-21, 20-25, 15-11.

Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 25-13. As for Woodville, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Warren will challenge rival Huntington at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Woodville is set to take on their familiar foe Central Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
