Basketball Recap: Tri-Cities Christian Eagles vs. Varsity Opponent
Tri-Cities Christian lost against Varsity Opponent last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tri-Cities Christian Eagles came up short against Varsity Opponent, falling 66-45. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Tri-Cities Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Emery Haws went 5 for 12 en route to 12 points and three steals. Tri-Cities Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Pineville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pineville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Tri-Cities Christian likes a good challenge. As for Varsity Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 47-8 defeat against Medina Christian Academy on the 27th.
