Lemon Bay had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dunedin Falcons on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Manta Rays, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Lemon Bay's got stronger as the match went on, holding Dunedin to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-12.

Natalie Googins was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and four aces. She has been hot, having posted three or more aces the last five times she's played.

Googins wasn't the only good servers: Lemon Bay was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive contests.

Lemon Bay's record is now 20-9. As for Dunedin, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Lemon Bay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Seminole on the 29th. Dunedin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
