Recap: North Paulding Wolfpack vs. Jackson Jaguars
On Tuesday, the North Paulding Wolfpack faced the Jackson Jaguars in a battle between two of the state's top teams. North Paulding walked away with a 64-56 win over Jackson. The win was familiar territory for North Paulding who now have three in a row.
Despite the loss, Jackson still got an impressive performance from Taliah Cornish, who scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was Kennedie Cooper, who scored eight points along with five steals.
North Paulding has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Jackson, their loss dropped their record down to 7-1.
North Paulding will head out on the road to face off against Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Brunswick focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday. Jackson's road trip will continue as they head out to face Shiloh at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th. Shiloh will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 340th, while Jackson is ranked 16th).
