Baseball Recap: Ursuline Comes Up Short

The Ursuline Fighting Irish didn't have quite enough to beat the South Range Raiders on Wednesday and fell 7-6. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rowan Urbach made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. He also brought in two RBI, marking his first of the season. AJ Snyder was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Ursuline's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for South Range, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Ursuline will take on Padua Franciscan at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Range, they will challenge Greenfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
