Softball Recap: Rio Mesa Gets the Win

While Rio Mesa put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Thousand Oaks. Rio Mesa sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over Thousand Oaks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Spartans have posted since February 25th.

Rio Mesa's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Thousand Oaks, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4-1.

Rio Mesa has already played their next game, a 5-3 defeat against Saugus on the 29th. As for Thousand Oaks, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-5 draw against Oxnard on the 29th.
