Basketball Recap: Wallace County Gets the Win

Wallace County got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 71-60 victory over the Greeley County Jackrabbits on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Jackrabbits last Tuesday, they had to take a 56-54 loss.

The win got Wallace County back to even at 6-6. As for Greeley County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Wallace County and Dighton will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Dighton will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Wallace County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Greeley County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against Quinter on the 25th.
