Volleyball Recap: Northeast Guilford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Northeast Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Northern Guilford Nighthawks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Nighthawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-10, 25-7.

Northern Guilford was led to victory by Teagan Rodulfo and Alexis Thielman. Rodulfo had five aces and three digs, while Thielman had eight digs and four assists. That's the most digs Thielman has posted over her last seven contests.

Northeast Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Northern Guilford, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Northeast Guilford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Southeast Guilford on the 2nd. As for Northern Guilford, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Southwest Guilford on the 1st.
