Volleyball Recap: Nauset Regional Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Nauset Regional can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Medway Mustangs on Thursday.

While Nauset Regional ultimately came up short, they really made Medway work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-11, 26-28, 25-21.

Medway can attribute much of their success to Charlotte George, who had 28 digs and three aces. That's the most digs George has posted since back in September.

Nauset Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Medway, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Nauset Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Medway, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Hanover on the 31st.
