Baseball Recap: Vinemont Comes Up Short

The Vinemont Eagles came up short against the East Limestone Indians on Thursday, falling 8-2.

Vinemont saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylan McRae, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Vinemont's loss dropped their record down to 20-7. As for East Limestone, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Vinemont will face off against West Morgan at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. West Morgan will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Vinemont surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Limestone, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Ardmore at 4:30 p.m.
