Volleyball Recap: West Babylon Takes a Loss

West Babylon lost against Smithtown West back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to Smithtown West. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While West Babylon was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22, 25-14.

West Babylon's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Smithtown West, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. West Babylon is set to take on their familiar foe Hauppauge at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Smithtown West will challenge rival West Islip at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
