Basketball Recap: Cornell Takes a Loss

Cornell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 69-40 loss at the hands of the Lake Holcombe Chieftains. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chiefs of the 73-32 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Cornell's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lake Holcombe, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cornell will take on Birchwood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Holcombe, they will challenge New Auburn at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
