Matthews Christian Academy posted their closest win since October 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Southview Christian Conquerors 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Colts sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Matthews Christian Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Southview Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 25-21, 23-25, 25-17, 17-15.

Matthews Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Southview Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Matthews Christian Academy will welcome Victory Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southview Christian, they will face off against Faith Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
