Southern Columbia Area extended the longest winning streak in Heartland III this week by beating Muncy, 47-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Tigers.

Southern Columbia Area took down the Indians 47-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Montgomery's dynamic duo of Matthew BOONE and Corey KRINER proved tough for Bloomsburg to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. BOONE threw for 144 yards and two touchdowns and KRINER had 97 yards receiving. Colton HARER helped Montgomery's passing attack out by catching six balls for 47 yards.

Troy Hembury was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 76 yards on 15 carries as Muncy lost to the Panthers. Junior Ramos also contributed to the rushing game with 17 yards on the ground.

Montgomery's BOONE and KRINER have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. BOONE has thrown for 627 yards this season, while KRINER, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 32 catches for 308 yards. Hembury from Jay Drumheller's team leads the league in rushing with 597 yards.

A big matchup in Heartland III this week will be when the Indians take on Bloomsburg. At the moment, Muncy is in second, while Larry Sones's team is in third.

Randy Boone's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,851 from 14,117. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 48-21 victory over the Red Raiders last week.
