Softball Recap: Lincoln Has No Trouble Against Godby

After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Lincoln brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They blew past the Godby Cougars 15-0 on Wednesday. The game marked the Trojans' most dominant win of the season so far.

Chloe Williamson was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025. Gaby Rodriguez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.

Lincoln always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Lincoln's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1. As for Godby, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lincoln will take on Wakulla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Godby, they will face off against Gadsden County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
