Softball Recap: Paul W. Bryant Falls to Pickens County in First Game of Season

Paul W. Bryant unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 11-5 to the Pickens County Tornadoes on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stampede of the 13-9 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Pickens County and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pickens County beat Paul W. Bryant by a score of 11-6 later that day.
