Softball Recap: Charlottesville Takes a Loss

If Charlottesville was riding high fresh off their 18-8 takedown of Staunton last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Black Knights came up short against the Storm on Monday, falling 22-12. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Storm this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-12 on Monday.

Charlottesville dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Staunton, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Storm beat Charlottesville by a score of 22-12 later that day.
