The Bonney Lake Panthers will head out to face off against the Graham-Kapowsin Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bonney Lake is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.1 runs per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Bonney Lake faced off against Emerald Ridge on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 9-3 to the Jaguars. The Panthers have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Hallie Beers was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Meanwhile, Graham-Kapowsin entered their contest against South Kitsap on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 3-2. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Brooklyn Pettit spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 14 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.4 strikeouts per game.

At the plate, Graham-Kapowsin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Macee Matison, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Graham-Kapowsin suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 10-4. As for Bonney Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Bonney Lake hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Graham-Kapowsin struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

Bonney Lake might still be hurting after the 11-1 defeat they got from Graham-Kapowsin in their previous matchup on April 4th. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
