Soccer Game Preview: Tyner Academy vs. Sequatchie County

The Tyner Academy Rams will head out on the road to challenge the Sequatchie County Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tyner Academy is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Tyner Academy fell victim to Brainerd and their airtight defense last Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. That's two games in a row now that Tyner Academy have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Sequatchie County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Marion County last Thursday. They never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. It was an even better day for Diego Martinez as he scored four goals for his team.

Tyner Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sequatchie County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything went Tyner Academy's way against Sequatchie County in their previous matchup back in March of 2022, as Tyner Academy made off with a 7-1 win. In that game, Tyner Academy amassed a halftime lead of 4-1, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
