Volleyball Recap: Rahway Indians vs. Summit Hilltoppers

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rahway can now relate to. They fell just short of the Summit Hilltoppers by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Hilltoppers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Rahway started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-14.

Their offense was headlined by Nyasia Wynn and Jasmine Johnson, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Nevaeh Lopez and her four assists.

Rahway's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Summit, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 18-10 record this season.
