Basketball Recap: Central Catholic Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Central Catholic proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 53) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Imani Christian Academy Saints, sneaking past 55-52. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 71-66 win the Saints walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

Imani Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of RJ Sledge, who posted 25 points and seven steals, and Donovan Gordon, who put up 15 points and three steals. Sledge is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Kieshaun Demus was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.
