Everything went their way against the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings on Tuesday as the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes made off with a 16-1 win. The victory was nothing new for the Hurricanes as they're now sitting on four straight.
Jenise Tristan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Fort Bend Hightower got a massive performance out of Baylee Bonner, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most runs Bonner has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Amiyah Lee, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
