Schaumburg had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Grayslake North Knights.

Schaumburg easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15.

Avery Duever paced Schaumburg's offense, picking up six kills. Duever got some help from Katelynn Caldwell and her 19 assists. Ivayla Goranova controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

When it comes to explaining why Grayslake North lost, don't look at Lucy Roscoe. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and two assists.

Schaumburg's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Grayslake North, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.

Schaumburg has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against East Peoria on the 11th. As for Grayslake North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Elgin on the 11th.
