Softball Recap: Chambers Academy Rebels vs. Abbeville Christian Academy Generals

Chambers Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Abbeville Christian Academy Generals. That's two games in a row now that Chambers Academy has lost by exactly three runs.

Raleigh Patterson and Allie Paschal did some serious damage despite the final result: Patterson scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Paschal scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Gabby Coleman, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.

On Abbeville Christian Academy's side, Anna Grace Blalock made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Blalock was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
