River Ridge had won six straight home games dating back to last season and Olivia Philpot did her part to make it seven on Thursday. The Knights put the hurt on the Lassiter Trojans with a sharp 3-0 victory for which the team can thank Philpot, who had 15 digs and six aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-10, 25-16.

River Ridge's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Lassiter, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

River Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Oak Mountain on the 6th. As for Lassiter, they will host Pope at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
