Volleyball Recap: North Branch Triumphs

The North Branch Broncos beat the Okemos Wolves 2-0 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

Aubree Deshetsky paced North Branch's offense, picking up eight kills. Deshetsky got some help from Kylie Doherty and her seven assists. Deshetsky was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

North Branch's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Okemos, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

North Branch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against St. Mary's Prep on the 23rd. As for Okemos, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Charlotte at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
