Soccer Game Preview: Murphy vs. Theodore

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Murphy take on Theodore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

Murphy's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over Saraland. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Panthers were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, it was close, but last Tuesday Theodore sidestepped Saraland for a 1-0 win.

The victory got Theodore back to even at 4-4-2. As for Murphy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Murphy might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Theodore in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Murphy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
