Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Herron). They blew past Waldron 23-10 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Achaeans.
Jordyn Ault made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and nine unearned) runs off 12 hits. Ault was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with five stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Herron got a massive performance out of Layla Williams, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Williams has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Cotham, who went 2-for-5 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one double.

Thursday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Warren Central has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .434. However, it's not like Herron struggles in that department as they've averaged .443. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
