Baseball Game Preview: Klein Cain Hurricanes vs. Klein Collins Tigers

For the second straight game, Klein Cain will face off against Klein Collins. The Hurricanes will challenge the Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Klein Cain will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

While Klein Cain's win against Klein Collins wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hurricanes had just enough and edged out the Tigers 4-2.

Collin Aloisio made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Connor Haefele looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Blaine Bullard, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles.

Klein Cain pushed their record up to 11-6-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Klein Collins, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 11-9-1 record.
