Basketball Game Preview: Central Catholic Fighting Irish vs. Madison Comprehensive Rams

The Central Catholic Fighting Irish will face off against the Madison Comprehensive Rams at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Central Catholic is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They strolled past Rogers with points to spare, taking the game 46-31. Given the Fighting Irish's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Rams are ranked 397th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Madison Comprehensive waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took down the Tornadoes 48-29. The game was the first time the Rams have beaten the Tornadoes on their court since February 21, 2018.

Madison Comprehensive's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Central Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 15-8.
