Regents waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the United Christian Academy Crusaders with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-7, 25-15.

Regents can attribute much of their success to Carlan Bryant, who had six digs and two aces.

Bryant wasn't the only good servers: Regents was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Regents' win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for United Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Regents didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Mt. Carmel Christian Academy on the 25th. United Christian Academy has also already played their next match (against Blue Ridge Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
