Hot Springs is 2-7 against Camden Fairview since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Trojans will square off against the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hot Springs comes in on six and Camden Fairview on four.
Hot Springs had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 25-point drubbing they dealt Arkansas on Friday. The Trojans blew past the Razorbacks 75-50. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Sedrick Allen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 504 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 14.4 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 54 yards and one TD. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 316.6 passing yards per game. Luey Jaime was in the mix as well, providing Hot Springs with two scores.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Hot Springs' defensive line and their seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jayden Meadows and Jaime, who racked up five sacks between them. Meadows also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 13. Colby Holder was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Camden Fairview duked it out with Hope on Friday. The Cardinals breezed past the Bobcats to the tune of 64-13. That looming 64-13 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cardinals yet this season.
Hot Springs better keep an eye on Demarion Robinson. He was instrumental in Camden Fairview's win, rushing for 239 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. Robinson is becoming a predictor of the Cardinals' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 2-3 when he doesn't). Brodie Dow was another key player, throwing for 123 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Hot Springs' record is now 7-1. As for Camden Fairview, their record now sits at 5-3.
Hot Springs was taken down by Camden Fairview 34-6 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Trojans, Darr?ll 'Juney' Atkins Jr (who threw for 196 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 78 yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
