Baseball Recap: Chapin Finds Home Field Redemption Against Burges

There's no place like home for Chapin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Burges Mustangs by a score of 11-7 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Nathan Sanchez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Ontiveros, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Chapin's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Burges, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11-2.
