Baseball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Alameda Pirates, falling 17-2. If the Saints were looking for revenge after losing 18-2 to the Pirates when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Alameda, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jefferson is set to take on their familiar foe Platte Canyon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Alameda will face off against rival Arrupe Jesuit at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
