Baseball Game Preview: West Branch Warriors vs. Alliance Aviators

For the second straight game, West Branch will face off against Alliance. The Warriors will welcome the Aviators at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, West Branch came up short against Alliance and fell 6-2. The Warriors have struggled against the Aviators recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

For Alliance's part, Brodee Bugara looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bugara has become a key player for the Aviators: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one hit, but 3-4 otherwise.

At the plate, Ben Craig was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

West Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Alliance, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.
