Southwestern barely beat Dunkirk the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans blew past the Marauders 9-2 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-8 back in April.

Madi Burnett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Siri Dubois, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Kate Casel was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Southwestern's victory bumped their record up to 6-10-1. As for Dunkirk, their loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.
